Sahayadri Treks
Close to the Popular city Mumbai, lie the Western Ghats of Maharashtra. The Mountain Range runs parallel to the Western Coastline and the height ranges from 2000 feet to 5400 feet. The Sahyadri’s are the lands of Shivaji Maharaj, one of the great rulers. Over 300 plus forts along these ranges tell a story of its own. The rugged mountain range offers a paradise to the Adventure lover. History along the Mountainous terrain make these forts a treasure trove.
The treks start from 1 Day to a week long which can cover few forts and passes together. From simple trekking to technical climbing you have a variety to visit. Over 100’s of year old fortification have some very interesting and mysterious stories to tell. Few forts we can visit are as below:
